This project focuses on analyzing sales performance, customer segmentation, and product trends for a Superstore business. The dataset contained sales transactions across various regions, customer segments, product categories, and subcategories.

Achieved Goals :

The main objectives of this project were to:

- Identify products generating the highest revenues.

- Determine revenue distribution across regions.

- Identify the top five customers by revenue.

- Determine the most sought-after products.

- Identify the customer segment with the largest number of customers.

- Analyze sales and profit trends over time.

My steps to complete this project :

The following steps were completed:

- Download the dataset from Kaggle using this link: https://www.kaggle.com/code/danishmubashar/superstore-sales-profit-discount-predict?select=Sample+-+Superstore.csv.

- Import the dataset in Excel to clean and transform it.

- Create fact and dimension tables.

- Model the dataset to create relationships between tables.

- Analyze the data in Excel by creating Pivot Tables.

- Putting all the visuals together in an interactive dashboard to communicate insights from the analysis.

- Provide recommendations on how to optimize sales strategies.

Required Tools for this project :

The following tools were used:

- Power Query in Microsoft Excel to clean and analyze the data.

- Microsoft Excel To Build an interactive dashboard.

Conclusion :

This project analyzed the Superstore dataset using Excel. By leveraging data cleaning, analysis, and visualization techniques, key insights into sales trends, customer behavior, and product performance were uncovered. Implementing the recommended strategies can drive business growth and profitability in the future.
